We were spending a week in Mudeford and started off with a Sunday Lunch for our first ever visit to the Jetty. We were very impressed with the menu considering the reasonable price - I had Sauteed Scallops (small suppl), Beef Wellington and Local Cheeses, whilst my partner had the Cheese Souffle, Trio of Pork and again the cheeses. We came in quite late for lunch (3pm), but never felt under any pressure, even when we were last to still be eating - savouring the beautiful cheeses.
At the end of the week we returned for evening dinner, and again had a wonderful meal, and can strongly recommend the Wild Mushrooms served as an extra side dish, and the Sommeliers choice in the Flight of Wines we had with our meals.
By some coincidence we had been given the same table on both occasions, sitting by the windows looking out over Christchurch Harbour towards Hengistbury Head - although of course the evening view was curtailed by darkness except when a swan eerily drifted through our the area lit up by the restaurant's lights. We will henceforth call this "Our Table".
