“Nice atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

My husbands food was delicious, my first main was a little burnt but they quickly resolved this and the second one was yummy too. Friendly atmosphere and home cooked food.

“Why so few reviews, this place is lovely”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013

Excellent food, great prices, generous portions, friendly staff and service. What more can I say! Came here for a family meal and was not disappointed - great range of dishes including a good range of vegetarian options. What you'd expect of a good country pub.

“Lovely pub, lovely setting, excellent service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013

We visited The Bridge from our canal boat on a lovely sunny afternoon/evening. We chose a table by the canal which was some distance from the bar and restaurant but this was no problem - the staff cheerfully served our delicious meals, goats cheese and caramelised onion tartlet and faggots with plentiful vegetables - to our table. It was no trouble.
The weather was hot on the day of our visit so the pub was empty inside but it was very inviting and I'm sure that a visit to The Bridge would be equally successful at any time of the year.

“Proper county pub”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013

Good food at good prices, the Sunday roast is perfect! With 2 large beer gardens and the best thatchers heritage cider on tap you can spend all day chilling with friends and enjoying the sun next to the canal. Roll on summer!

“Best Sunday lunch I've had in a very long time! Great staff too”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2013

We have just returned from Sunday lunch at the Bridge Inn - we came across this pub on a canalside walk some weeks ago and thought the food looked good. As we had family staying we thought we'd try it and wow! Very impressed!
The pub is located on the side of the Worcester canal and has a beer garden (on both sides of the pub), good sized car park and a bar (where dogs and muddy boots are welcome) as well as the main restaurant. I would advise booking as it's very popular.
The decor is still traditional old pub but the food was outstanding. We started with homemade leek soup, creamy garlic mushrooms and chicken goujons (huge!) and then all chose the Sunday lunch. Option was beef with Yorkshire pudding or Pork with stuffing and apple sauce. Plates are brought out with meat, gravy, roast potatoes and yorkshire (for the beef dinner) and then side dishes with veg (good selection of broccoli, carrot, red cabbage and spring greens) and cauliflower cheese. There was more than enough of everything and we couldn't finish it all. They also brought extra gravy which was much appreciated by the chaps.
Staff were very friendly and the place had a good atmosphere. We will definitely return and have already recommended to several friends.
