“We just keep going back!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2013

We have stayed here now and again and know exactly what we are coming to.

The location is superb, the experience of staying at Carrybridge is unique. It isn't pretentious, it doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is. The food is excellent, the craic superb, just let your hair down and go with the flow! (And remember to slow down as it's Fermanagh we're talking about!)

Very friendly staff, accommodation is basic but clean, warm and comfortable. When we stayed recently it was -6 outside, the bar area was cosy with a wood burning stove and the bedroom was warm and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent as it snowed outside.

The Ritz it isn't but neither are the prices. If you're there on a Sunday, the carvery is a treat not to be missed!

Beautiful riverside location and convenient to many leading Fermanagh tourist sites.

It gets even better when the boating season starts.

What a great review taking all things into consideration now that you have road tested our rooms, as you said we dont try to be anything that we arent but do strive to go the extra mile with hospitality and service to make up for our basic but clean facilities. We also ensure that your comfort is our priority assuring you of our best attention at all times. This is also extended to our food and service again which you have road tested many times. As you say " you just keep coming back" therefore we must tick all of your boxes. Thankyou again.

“Great Service and Great Food with a homely feel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2013

We would visit here on a regular basis and have frequented the bar/night life & accommodation for about the last 5 or 6 years. I wouldn't say the accommodation is 5 star but it is such a homely place. The staff are very friendly and the surroundings great. The Sunday Carvery is beyond belief - you wont come out hungry and the price.....well, I personally find it hard to beat. We would normally bring at least 1 of the 3 kids with the youngest being 3 (the usual attendee) and they are very welcoming even for our lively and somewhat restless little man. They normally have a great selection of meats and I have to admit I do favour their Lamb...I cant criticise the food in any way shape or form and the pints - yeah they arent so bad either but having learnt a lesson, dont be taking any more than 1 with the dinner as you just wont be able to finish the mountain of great food they dish out.

Well worth a visit if you live in the area but more worth the visit if you dont - as a city slicker, you really come to appreciate the relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere

Many thanks for taking the time to give us your review, we appreciate customer feedback in a bid to remain competitive and to keep all our customers happy, we dont like any one to leave carrybridge unhappy or hungry or to feel in any way agrieved for our standards of product or service, we as you said are not five star in facilities but do strive to give 5 star service. Once again many thanks and we hope to see you again soon.

“Dark dingy little place”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2012

When I visited here for a meal a while ago the place looked awful. It was badly in need of a refurb and a good cleaning.
The food was not all that bad to be honest, but the surroundings let it down.

Food good, service good and staff have a homely manner about them, pity about the rooms! Loved watching the boats go by.

“Sunday lunch”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012

We stopped of at Carry Bridge for Sunday lunch while out on the boat there was about 10 of us..!! We ordered our food and then placed at a table in the dinning room..!! most of us ordered steaks they weren’t cooked how they were asked for, all well done when they were asked to be medium to rear..!! quality of the meat wasn’t great either..!! My friend got fish and it smelt of.!! For the price of the food i expect the quality to be fantastic but was way below average.. The staff ON THAT DAY were very rude..!! i have been in it before and normally the staff are lovely so im not saying they all are rude..!!
I have been for evening snack and it was lovely but i was very disappointed that Sunday and will not stop in a hurry again..!!
If your out on the boat and want food i would stop of at the killy..!!
