“North and South”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2013

This is a 30 mile trek across the county from Padstow to Fowey commemorating the passage of early christian pilgrims coming down the Irish and Welsh coasts, cutting across Cornwall and on to Brittany. Celtic crosses and Saints abound along the route. People seem to do it in three days, but then there are so many fine places to eat and drink en route.

It is well waymarked with signs bearing the mark of a cross, and there is an information board at Readymoney Cove at the end of Love Lane. It's a bit confusing for some that there are two routes down to Fowey - via Golant , and via Luxulyan and Polmear, either / both worth the trip
