I'll admit it, we were first attracted to this B&B by it's very reasonably priced rooms. But The Well House surpassed our expectations, and, a year later, we still talk about our wonderful trip to Fowey, and our stay here. The room was quite spacious (we were able to assemble our 2-yr-old daughter's cot in the room), and it was nicely decorated with antiques. The window overlooked a main walking street, so we could people-gaze! The location was right in the middle of Fowey, and we could walk to the docks to see a Navy Ship in the harbour, as well as many pubs and restaurants practically next-door. The ceiling had exposed beams, and Leslie, the owner, gave us a little history of the home. Leslie was a fantastic host. She was able to talk us to the B&B over the phone after we got lost, and she also gave us directions to a free parking lot near Readymoney Cove. The breakfasts were plentiful and delicious! On this trip, we also visited the Eden Project, which was about a 5-10 min drive away. All in all, this was a fabulous experience we will not soon forget!
