We stayed at the Tigh-Na-Sgiath Hotel for just one night. We were greeted at the door by the charming owner and offered a complimentary drink. The Hotel is in very traditional style and lovingly maintained. The rooms were very comfortable and the evening meal superb. It's the best value we encountered over six days of Scottish travel and we would recomment it without any reservation.And we are fussy!!!

We stayed one night in the Four Poster. Beautiful, big room, very tastefully decorated. En-suite Jacuzzi bath (with coloured lights) and toiletries were a treat!

The personal welcome with a complimentary whiskey or sherry beside the log fire after a long drive was much appreciated.

Dinner was just beautiful and served in a nice relaxed setting.
Large choice at breakfast, which again was perfect.

Definately the place for a nice 'treat'. Everything was first class! The attention to detail and all the little 'extras' were very much appreciated. Thank you!

Definately return again.

Wow!, What another wonderful stay. The warmest of welcomes, accommodation of the highest standard and the food and wine to die for. Breakfast was also of a high standard, scramble eggs and smoked salmon, making my mouth water just thinking of it. will certainly return and hopefully for more than one night. Thanks Ian and Elaine and all the best for a busy season.

We booked this small hotel based on the positive reports here and were very pleased with the ambience of the hotel and the food and service were excellent. We payed extra for the superior turret room and although the room and view were superb, the bathroom was a small flimsey ensuite in bad condition. However, I understand refurbishment is underway to correct this which should make this hotel truly excellent for future guests.

By the way, this really is in the middle of nowhere without a pub in walking distance if that is what you are after...
