“Everything you should expect from a good local chip shop”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2014

Called here for a chippy tea when staying at the wild duck, me and my son had a walk down while the girls were getting ready for the evening me and my wife had fish, chips and minted peas my three kids had fish bites and chips everything was cooked fresh so about ten to fifteen minute wait.....(enough time for a cheeky pint next door). The food was brilliant and we really enjoyed top fish top chips and the minted peas really made the meal, the kids fish bites were chunky and proper fresh fish fillet. Anybody that stays at the wild duck and is having a chippy tea should try this place(5minute walk) or you could use the onsite chippy and waste your money. Looking forward to june when we will be calling in again.

“HOW FISH AND CHIPS SHOULD BE”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2014 via mobile

Good quality fish not your average cheap end gear that most chippies in yarmouth dish up. Excellent selection, cooked to order always fresh. The owner is an absolute legend and his staff are very helpful. Whether your a local or a holiday maker this is a friendly welcoming chip shop. Do not hesitate to use. INFACt make this a must visit!!!

“GREAT chippy !! 😄”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2013

Being a owner at the wild duck holiday site I will definitely be using this chippy when I visit most times. Being a honest person I'm going to give a honest review , on arrival addmitidly the shop in general looks very run down and gives the impression it's not the most hygienic (sorry). Having said that the customer service was great and they recommended some great dishes ! The chips were a little dry on my second visit but good in general was very yummy and worth the expense ! Not only do they do fish and chips but different dishes as well , you would have to look as there's so many to write. Worth a visit ! X

“The way fish and chips used to taste”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2013

We were staying at the Cherry Tree holiday park and really fancied some fish & chips. After checking the reviews on trip advisor, we decided to try this place. And boy are we glad we did!
The fish is cooked in dripping, the old fashioned way, which makes it really crispy and so incredibly tasty. I'd forgotten how fish & chips used to taste.

“Top Fish & Chips A+”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2013

We visited this Chippy whilst we were on Holiday from Hull, we popped in for some fish & chips and it was great, so great we went back and had the famous chicken burgers, they defiantly filled us up, best chicken burgers I have had, the staff were very friendly and helpful with directions for us, if you are ever in the area you have got to try the chicken burger, or the fish, both were brilliant, well done to you all and keep it up, see you again next year and happy frying, :)
