Stayed on a saturday night paying £100 bed and breakfast from late rooms for our anniversary, we left feeling like wedding crashers. On arrival at the hotel we were unable to park in the car park which was full and told to park on any available patch of tarmac, the hotel was hosting a wedding. Our 'superior' room was disappointingly very small with a sloping ceiling and a small double bed. the decor and the bathroom nice. View of car park. We decided not to eat in the hotel but used the bar this was a farce full of wedding guests and with the bar staff otherwised engaged with the wedding. It was very difficult to get served. In the morning the shower would not work for a good while as the water pressure was too low. We were astonished that the hotel charges £5 extra for a cooked breakfast per person! I really think that the hotel is rather greedy hosting a large wedding and selling spare rooms and virtually ignoring those people not at the wedding. came away disappointed this would be a lovely place to get married but I would not recommend it as a place to stay.
