“Unbeatable value for money on desserts”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013 via mobile

Been here twice recently just for coffee and cakes with the kids and cannot believe how cheap it is for such generous portions! Really tasty too - for example a large slice of Victoria sponge £1. Also really tasty fruit crumbles. The latte is perfect and owners very friendly. Both times i went in with 4 kids who had a cake each and I had coffee and cake, bill was about £8.

This is a follow up to my earlier review, i haven't been in lately at lunch time or had any main meal lately. For afternoon cake and coffee - spot on

“Fabulous food, great prices”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2013

Popped in for lunch with family. Amazing food, plenty of,choice on menu. Good sized portions and amazing value for money. Would thoroughly recommend a visit here. An added bonous is the double act supplied free of charge from Sandra and Irene who make sure your visit is a memorable one.
Can't wait to visit again.

“Cramped and not cheap for standard fayre.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013 via mobile

Dined in here for lunch with my family. The tables seemed to be rammed in to get as many folk as possible into a small space. The food was average but quite expensive for what was on offer. I personally think cafe 98 offers better value and Loch Leven's Larder offers better quality. For me this new cafe has missed a trick unfortunately. Not bad just not great and offers nothing new.

“Very convenient coffee shop & restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013

Just popped in for a coffee this morning. The decor is very nice, lovely big windows to sit in too. I only had coffee but the cakes looked very appealing. Price of coffee very reasonable.

“Delicious dessert & coffee”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

We visited this small café on a recent visit to Kinross. We opted for a rock bun and the pear and sponge with custard and 2 lattes. The sponge was very light and tasted delicious. There were a few locals in which I always look on as a good thing. The prices were excellent too. I will most certainly be returning to this café in the near future to taste chefs rhubarb crumble!
