“Pleasantly surprised”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2014

I was promised a good nights sleep and thats what I got. I never woke up once. Now that may be due to all the drving I had done that day but never the less, I got what was promised!
The room was comfortable and had everything I needed. The bed was lovely. High up too. I never stayed for breakfast but the pub looked nice over the way where they were serving it. And a good time too, breakfast starts at 6.30am.
Overall, great stay and I'd go back if I was in the area again.

Visited this establishment for one night and found it most satisfactory. The room was clean, well appointed and had a most comfortable bed with a choice of pillows. The bathroom was well designed and again very clean. The only slight problem was that the room we were allocated was facing the back where trees blanketed the light and made the room seem quite dark in the daytime. The staff at reception were most helpful and we would most certainly use this Premier Inn if we come to Lowestoft again.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the front get more daylight.

Booked disabled room. Bathroom has lots of grab bars around bath, WHICH THE SHOWER IS OVER!!! Be aware if showering is important to you and you're disabled. Got room on very good offer. £25. Bed was very low, struggled to get up. Bathroom light was linked to an extractor fan which was annoying a lot of the time. Foxborough has very nice food.

Thank you for reviewing your recent stay at our hotel. At Premier Inn we always strive to provide customers with everything they need to have a comfortable stay, and I apologise that on this occasion we have failed to do this. Most of our Premier Inn sites are equipped with full disabled facilities, including wet-rooms, though some older sites are still in need of updating. We do however state the available facilities on our website, and would advise customers to contact the hotel to check availability. Once again thank you for your review, we hope to welcome you back to Premier Inn in the future.

On arrival you will find this hotel just off the main road, set well enough back that road noise is not an issue, a large free car park so no trouble find a space.
on arrival there were 2 staff on reception which made checking in quick and easy, the room was a reasonable size with the standard functional fixtures and fittings, very clean, both room and bathroom.
I had paid for internet access, which had a good signal but you can only use your code to connect one device, so after finishing reporting on the laptop i could not then use my tablet to FaceTime the family back home.
There is a Beefeater pub just a short walk across the car park, fine for your evening meal but i wouldn't fancy walking over for breakfast in the morning!
The Beefeater was busy so if you are not willing to eat in the bar area you better book, was a 2 hour wait when i asked.

Stayed here on a Thursday night in January. As usual reception very friendly, room up to their usual high standard.

Only downside was the adjacent restaurant. Upon arrival we (there were other arrivals at the same time) were informed that a table wouldn't be available until 9.30pm. which, in my opinion is far too late to eat during a working week. A quick walk to the restaurant confirmed this. Apparently the venue was full of families with vouchers for meal deals.

I would recommend booking prior to your visit if possible.

The Premier Inn however was everything I expected; thanks to all.

We stayed here for 2 days whilst having a trip to Lowestoft. We had rooms 150 and 151 which were the rooms right at the far end of the hotel and the rooms were perfect as we didn't have anyone walking past our rooms late at night. They have a quiet time policy between 10pm and 7am which seemed to work and the staff were lovely and very friendly, couldn't do enough for us. The room was clean, tidy and the shower was great. We'll defenitly be staying Premier Inn again.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms 150 or 151 the far end of the hotel, very quiet.

This is the second time we have been here and every-time it has been excellent.
The staff from front of house, bar/breakfast and cleaning staff are polite and friendly.
The rooms are lovely and clean. It is basic but they have made this as clean and comfortable as possible. The bed was a little high and a bit soft but that would be just us being over critical.
One woman in the bar is particularly friendly and helpful. We met her last time and was helpful to us and other customers. Her name we think, was Shayla? Anyway she should be recommended by her managers for a staff award. The breakfast is good value and nice veggie options!
It's not the Ritz but for a budget hotel it was a high class five star service.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back have a nice quiet feel to them with birdsong in the morning.
