“Clean, friendly and an awesome breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2013

Stayed 21/12/13. Room was clean and warm, the owners were helpful and friendly. There wasn't much noise in the morning (a pet hate when staying in hotels or B&Bs) and the breakfast was lovely. The place has a family-home feel to it despite being fairly big... Would definitely stay again.

We stayed here for one night on the way to the isle of Wight, the welcome was very friendly. The bedroom was a good size with an adequate en-suite although the bed would benefit from a mattress upgrade! Breakfast was very good and on-site parking was very handy. There was a fridge on the landing with help-yourself bottles of water and ice, very welcome.

I've stayed at Auplands a couple of times - I went back, so that says a lot!
It was nice and clean, and the owners are incredibly welcoming. The rooms are nice, clean, well maintained (this is not boutique hotel stuff but neither is it really outdated). There's a communal fridge which guests are welcome to use, and it is stocked with bottled water if you prefer to drink that rather than tap water.
Location wise it is just a few minutes walk from the top of the main street so whilst it is on a main road, it is actually in a pretty good location, close to all the restaurants and shops.
The rooms were warm, quiet, the shower rooms were nice and showers worked well.
Most of all, the breakfasts are great (full English etc) and include bowls piled high with fresh fruit.

This was my first visit to Lymington and my seven night stay was wonderful. The house has a lovely warm atmosphere and is in a great position for exploring the town. Sue and Graham were very welcoming and friendly throughout and my room and breakfasts were perfect. I would definitely recommend this exceptional B & B,

We have stayed in Lymington a number of times, and have not yet been disappointed with the quality of B&B accommodation. This place is spotlessly clean, with a lovely warm welcome and an excellent breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.

We only knew at the last minute that we were going to the New Forest and thankfully we could be accommodated. Lovely B&B close to town but still lovely and quite. Welcoming hosts, clean comfortable room and delicious breakfast.

Easy to find, very welcoming hosts. Room was really comfy and clean with everything we needed for an overnight stay. Bed very comfortable and every attention to detail in the room and en-suite.
Early breakfast which was excellent taken in the dining room which had a lovely aura of calm.
Very impressed and would stay her again.

Room Tip: We had a lovely room overlooking the front garden and the road, very quiet.
