“Disappointing”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2013

An interesting area with much to enjoy but too much road. At least one very dodgy style but interesting views across to the Isle of Wight, especially when there is a sea-fret.

“Bracing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2013

Walking from Lymington to Keyhaven on this coastal path certainly blew the cobwebs away on a February morning. Very peaceful with lots of wildlife and views of the Isle of Wight and the ferries. Luckily we reached the excellent Gun Inn at Keyhaven in time to shelter from a short snow shower and the sun was shining again for our inland walk back to Lymington

“Perfect for a Sunday walk”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012

A fantastic walk with magnificent views our on the Solent... Ideal for boat spotting and bird watching. Small kids can ride their bicycles on the footpath... After the long walk there are some good pubs in and around lymington that serve great food.

“Beautiful walk along Solent Way”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

We walked from Lymington to Milford and back. It is a one and a half hour walk each way. We took the ferry to the Hurst Castle and spent an hour their. This is a beatiful hike and one of the best walks in the area. You see a lot of birds in the Keyhaven bird sanctuary. You have amazing views of the Solent and the Isle of Wight across the water. You can have dinner in Lymington and I recommend the Mayflower Pub and Restaurant there.
