“Disappointing for the reviews.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

We arrived having had not much sign posting closer to the sight. After following the noise of screaming children, we were greeted by a bit of a grotty pay-in kiosk brick hut. We go in, and there is not enough space to set up seats very well. All that was on offer at the kiosk was chips and ice cream. Poorly looked after surroundings around the pool. The pools had an almost petrol skin to them, with the shimmering different colours. 20 minutes later we left. I won't be visiting again, however it looked busy and people seemed to be enjoying it.

“Please help keep this pool open!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

Just as swimming pools were when I was a child. Very large pool, plenty of sunbathing space. Food and drink available inside. Brilliant value for money and worth travelling to.

“Fantastic day out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013 via mobile

Great day out for all the family. Well kept pools, it was sectioned into 4 areas so all ages and abilities could enjoy the water. Had a sand Pitt and a nice changing area, also had sun loungers for the adults. We spend a very relaxing day there enjoying the pool and watching the boats sailing by.

“Cheap family fun”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

We had a voucher which saved us £7.00 and included a free ice cream, the day we chose to go was a bit over cast but the water was 25 degrees so pretty warm, there are inflatables for you to play on and the water is only up to your chest at its deepest. We spent a couple of hours here and would recommend it as a cheap fun day out. We had some cheesy chips and they were tasty and good value. There were plenty of lifeguards and they were friendly and helpful.

We would go again but on a sunnier day, only thing is when you park it is not obvious where the baths actually are, there is a sign but not very prominent!
