“unique outdoor baths”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

so nice to swim in englands oldest outdoor sea water bath. We pretty much had the pool to ourselves. The water temperature was easy to get used too - a pleasant hour in a nice surrounding.

“Great for everyone including families”

We love this place, great for families with young children, and adults alike. Give it a try if and when we get a hot sunny day ever again!

“A great place to chill out on a hot day”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2012

This is a refreshing experience with all the fun of the beach minus the inconvenience of lugging your stuff very far. The water is from the sea so it's warmer than a non-heated fresh- water pool would be because of the salt and warmer than the sea because it is fairly shallow so the sun heats it better. it is also larger than outdoor or indoor pools normally are & safer than the sea as there are no waves or currents.
It is also interesting historically.
There is a need to smooth off the pavements round the edge-They are a bit rough & it's worth taking sea shoes.
It is very good value & I do hope the Council keep it open as it is a major attraction to the area.

“Great day out”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2012

The sea water baths are set right beside the Lymington harbour with a large pay-and-display carpark. The pool is huge with the canoeing on the side nearest the entrance gate, and the main swimming on the other side. Entrance is £2.50 per adult and £1.50 per child. Sunbed hire is £2.00 per bed, but you do need to get there early to get one of these. We arrived at opening time and had the place to ourselves for a while. We booked two comfy sunbeds and set ourselves up under an umbrella beside the sandpit and baby pool. My 5-year old spent the whole day in the water and I finally had to drag him home at 6pm! The toilet and shower facilities are good. The kiosk serves drinks, icecream, burgers and hot chips etc, and is reasonably priced. They could do with some extra help in there as sometimes there were very long queues. It was a lovely hot, sunny day and by lunchtime the place was very busy. All in all we had a fabulous day and I would highly recommend the sea baths.
(I wanted to put some photos on because there isn't much information available, but the TA photo uploader seems to be playing up...?)
