Stayed overnight before going over to the Isle of Wight...Really handy for the ferry, just a few minutes away. Room was lovely as was the bathroom. Everything provided for your stay including bath robes. Room overlooked the garden in a very quiet location. Breakfast was tasty..all quality produce. Elaine made us feel welcome and the fuss from her lovely little dog made it feel like visiting a friend. Hope to stay again very soon. Thankyou Elaine

Elaine made us very welcome during our 2 nights stay. Rooms were comfortable and space was good, even the single was fine for our 6'1" son! Breakfasts were very tasty especially the homemade bread! We really enjoyed our conversations with Elaine who is a very interesting lady and this added to the sense of welcome and relaxation. Lymington is a lovely place and we will visit again, A Little Gem will certainly be our first choice for accommodation. If you want to get into the town it is quite a long walk or about 5-7 minutes by car.

We stayed one night in Elaine's smaller room. After a day sail from Lymington Yacht Haven it was just what we wanted - comfy bed, clean and quiet with a nice home cooked breakfast in the morning. Even a nice little flat screen TV in the room to watch the highlights of the olympics when we got back in. It's also one of the few B&Bs in the area which will accept a Saturday night stay without booking in for the whole weekend. Next time we're in Lymington we'll be back!

Elaine is such a witty person! We had interesting chats in the morning and a lot of laughter, when she served her delicious breakfast and of all her absolutely tasty home made bread, jam and marmelade! (you get the smell of it the previous afternoon, when the whole house is filled with the smell of freshly baked bread). Elaine has an eye for country home details (garden, interior a.s.o.). Since we had both rooms for ourselves, we were the only guests. One room has a bathroom with fabulous shower ensuite, whereas the other has a bath tub with shower (not ensuite). Her little dog is a character and couldn't hurt a fly. Lymington is a nice little sailing town with lots of nice restaurants. Elaine is happy to direct you to some of them.
Elaine is the best host!

elaine is a real character and her B&B is charming. We had the yellow room and were most comfortable. Breakfast was lush and we chatted together whilst she prepared and served it, along with he rhome made bread. Thanks Elaine. Becky and Rob.
