Had a 2 night stay in this hotel in the New Forest after reading the great reviews about it. They were not wrong!!! The hotel is set in the most beautifull grounds which as we were blessed with superb weather that weekend we took full advantage of. The staff were polite and friendly and the food was lovely. Room in the old part was ok and was near the lovely courtyard .There was also a indoor swimming pool but I am afraid we stayed outdoors in the gardens and around the area, (did not want to miss the sun in case its the only time this year we see it !!!) The hotel is not far from the sea and all the attractions of the New Forest so we would recommend it to anyone

My partner and I stayed here over the Easter long weekend and loved it.

The hotel and the grounds were lovely, but what made it special was the staff. Just wonderful.

When we arrived there was a letter to welcome us, and an Easter card. The room was beautifully decorated and finished perfectly with a vase of daffodils.

On Easter Sunday we arrived at our breakfast table to see a chocolate Easter Bunny sitting there for us. We also had some chocolate eggs that we ate along with our morning coffee.

The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay and they make this hotel deserve more than just it's 3 star rating.

We spent 2 nights at Passford House and would really recommend this lovely hotel. The food was fantastic and the staff and service absolutely exceptional. We didn't use the facilities but the pool looked lovely and there is also a tennis court, pool table, gym and table-tennis table. The only negative thing I could say about the hotel is that the dining room feels more like a half set up conference room than a cosy restaurant - but the food and staff more than made up for this. We would definately go again.

My husband and I decided to take a 3 day break in the New Forest and booked this hotel because of the facilities and location. We were not sure what to expect as the website photos seemed rather dated. However from the moment we arrived we were pleasantly suprised at everything about Passford House, the room (155) was perfect! from the decor, size and comfort to the stunning views, we overlooked the garden at the back with lovely views of the Forest. It was spacious and comfortable and catered for all your needs as did the bathroom, the service we received was excellent at all times - the food was outstanding in choice and flavour!! The breakfasts were just brilliant - the croissants melted in the mouth they were so fresh! This has to be one of the best 3 star hotels we have stayed in, quiet - professional and a well hidden jewel of the forest!
We cant wait to go back. This should be rated a 4 star at least! Dont let the website put you off - it hasnt been updated in over 4 years....
