“still impressive”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2013

We stayed at the Gaydon two years ago and couldn't fault it then.
Now it looks even fresher. Room 5 is spacious with a sea view (just!) still spotlessly clean, breakfasts still A1 and Sue and Jon as delightful as ever. We hope to come back.

A most welcoming and enjoyable stay. Good location and ideal if you are there to play golf or want the beach.

Hosts were very nice people providing a good breakfast and local information if required. Quality of accommodation was good with rooms a nice size and well serviced.

Would happily go back again.

Breakfast was excellent quality, well cooked and plentiful. Room was large comfortable and very pleasant. The owners are helpful, pleasant and attentive. Location is short walk from centre of St Annes and short walk to Fairhaven Lake. Two minutes to sea front on a quiet road. Can't fault it at all.

The Hotel was in a great location within walking distance to the shops and nightlife. The accomodation was superb, the bed was comfy and the rooms were large and spotlessly clean. Sue and Jon were excellents host and really friendly and made us feel at home. The breakfast was also fantastic with lots of choice and was plentyfull as well as expertly cooked. Well worth a visit cannot recommend highly enough! Thanks for the local info also!

Just got back from a lovely couple of days at the Gaydon Hotel. Jon and Sue are excellent hosts and really make you feel at home. The hotel is spotless, the beds are comfy, the breakfast is great and we didn't need a dinner! Nice bathroom with excellent shower, not one thing to dislike. We shall be back and can't recommend the Gaydon highly enough! Tony & Debbie

Great position in lytham Very attentive hosts and a lovely breakfast. Nice clean rooms. Stayed in room 1 it is a good size - the only thing I would say is that I would have liked a full length mirror, the only one was too low.

Would definitely recommend
