What a fantastic B&B.
We arrived to a wonderfully warm welcome by Darren, who helped us with our bags showing us our lovely room and bringing us two slices of freshly baked and very yummy carrot cake.
Our room (number 6) was beautifully decorated in a contemporary/ shabby chic style, very spacious with a king size, very comfy bed, plenty of wardrobe space, two comfy arm chairs, flat screen TV and a fantastic view across the river to Ross. Tea, coffee and biscuits were kept well stocked throughout our stay.
The bathroom looked brand new, modern and spotlessly clean - wonderful large walk in shower, large fluffy white towels, nice quality shower gels etc.
We stayed 3 nights and tried both the full english breakfast and the scrambled eggs & bacon on toasted muffin with maple syrup - both were very good portions and excellent. Darren and Elena were on hand for limitless tea & coffee and toast top ups.

Overall the Bridge House is a tastefully renovated and very comfortable B&B, just 10 minutes easy walk into Ross centre along by the river. Lovely views of Ross and also Wilton castle which is just behind the rear of the house.
There is a very comfortable guest lounge with leather sofas, log fire, music player, games, fridge and views over the garden.
There is a local pub, the White Lion, across the road which serves good pub grub and is situated on the river which would be lovely in warmer weather. Several restaurants and pubs in Ross town are within easy walking distance.
Darren and Elena are wonderful hosts and so helpful - nothing is too much trouble for them in helping to make your stay a good experience - one of the best B&B's I have stayed in. Highly Recommended.

Room Tip: Room 6 - great view, great shower, quiet and comfortable.

We arrived to a very warm and sincere welcome by Darren. After checking into our lovely individual and spacious room we were treated to coffee and homemade fruit cake in the lounge sitting by the log burner. It doesn't get better than this!
The shower room was spotlessly clean and the power shower was fantastic! The bed was so comfortable with top quality mattress and bedding. Perfect for snuggling down in after a lovely meal at The Kings Head pub.
After a great nights sleep we were treated to an excellent cooked breakfast.
We loved our stay and will certainly stay there again. Some 5* hotels could learn some lessons on hospitality from Darren and Elena.

I decided to surprise my fiancé and take him away last minute. I took to trip advisor to find somewhere not too far away. I read the reviews and thought I'd just go for it! I was very happily surprised. We were greeted by the owner(the nicest guy ever!)and shown to our beautiful room. All the interiors are finished to perfection. Delightful breakfast, lovely couple, beautifully decoration I can't recommend it enough.

Spent 2 nights at this wonderful B&B with very gracious and attentive hosts Darren and Elena. Very easy access from here to Ross On Wye, an easy 10 minute walk.
Darren provided great information about restaurants and very good pubs in the area, via email prior to our visit via email.
The weather was still nice enough for us to get out and about and although the temperature got down to -1.5 degrees we were very comfortable in front of the wood fire in the guest lounge and in the very comfortable bedroom.

This is a nice old house with plenty of character. Our room was cosy and very nicely maintained. Breakfasts were great and I very much liked the couple that ran it. The only tiny downside for us is that it is on a busy road and near an even busier one! The owners were very straight with us about this at the time of booking so I wouldn't want anyone to think we were complaining - it's just that if (like us) you are used to sleeping in near perfect silence you do notice the traffic.

Standards here would put many a 5-star hotel to shame; from the friendly welcome from hosts Darren and Elena accompanied by tea and home-made cake to the stylish and comfortable bedrooms with views of the River Wye; from the cosy residents' lounge with log fire and the day's newspapers to the lavish full English breakfast using quality local produce. All in all a great place to stay, very reasonably priced and fully deserving of all the glowing tributes on Trip Advisor. Probably the best B&B we have ever stayed in.

Spent only one night and was gutted to leave. Room was perfect, decorated to a very high standard and the attention to detail from the soaps to the cookies was delightful. Breakfast was stunning and nothing was too much trouble. The best part for though was the friendliness of Darren , his wife and their dog Seb! Lovely location, lovely accommodation and fantastic people
