“Best in the west”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2013

There was a time not so long ago when, leaving London and heading west, for coffee-lovers it was downhill all the way. Not any more. Caffe Eleganza in Ross-on-Wye bucks the trend in a big way: the best coffee, specially selected, served with the respect (for the coffee) that the Irish reserve for Guinness. I for one would go to Ireland just for the Guinness - and to Ross-on-Wye and Caffe Eleganza for the coffee

“Best salad ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2013

Great menu and very reasonably priced. After a lot of indecision we eventually decided on the feta and beetroot salad. We were served a beautiful salad that tasted as good as it looked. The combination of ingredients meant every mouthful was fresh and delicious and the portions were so generous that I helped my mother finish of her salad. Excellent service in a relaxed and friendly environment, couldn't have asked for a better way to enjoy a lunch. My only regret is that I can't be a regular and try the rest of the menu as I live in Swansea. Many thanks for making such a special lunch as I was taking my mum out for a well deserved treat she enjoyed herself immensely.

“The best place to lunch in Ross On Wye”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013

I visit Ross On Wye on a regular basis and always visit this café for either lunch or their amazing selection of coffee and teas from around the world. The lunch food is inventive and the presentation is superb, I am not generally not a salad person but the owner Rob puts a twist on these usually dull dishes that is pure genius. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with friendly and enthusiastic staff. The coffee is superb and recommend the Americano if you like a full and rich roasted coffee, check out the food specials board too with treats to make your mouth water.

“Great lunch, good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2013

Stopped off here for lunch and it was lovely. Good coffee, great food and a few seats outside so we could enjoy the sunshine. Very good value too.

“Lovely lunches.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2013

Set right at the top of the town, this very chic and modern 'cafe' serves a wonderful selection of fine local ground coffees and great choices of teas. Dozens of them, served loose leaf and in a proper tea pot. Just how I like it! There is good food too. Apart from panninis, ciabattas, there are always specials too: the innovative salads and the lunch bowls ( which are pretty big) are delicious. Clever use of fresh veg and salad ingredients and not the boring 'lettuce and tomato' plonked on a plate! Oh... and WIFI too for those who can't just relax over lunch and need to be 'hotwired' to the internet! This is a really nice place to have lunch!
