Although we only stayed one night, the Radcliffe Guest House was a real treat. A full of character building combined with a friendly welcome and such a great room made the stay a great treat. The cooked breakfast was the cherry on the icing and we will make sure we return. Highly recommended.

A very nice B&B in a very good location for exploring the west Midlands and the Welsh borders. The owners are very service minded and friendly. The room was nice with a lovely view over the river Wye. The WiFi connection was however almost non-existent. The breakfast was the best we experienced during our two weeks driving around in England.

Room Tip: Room nr 1 has a very bad WiFi connection so if this is important ask for another room.

We stayed one night, the room and welcome were excellent, as was the English breakfast the next day. Our room overlooked the river and was beautifully decorated. Would have liked to stay longer but we had an engagement the next day.

Room Tip: We stayed in Bedroom No 1 - see -photos attached

Mu husband and I stayed here for 8 nights and couldn't fault it at all. Very comfortable room and very clean. Hosted by a lovely friendly family who couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was a real treat and perfectly cooked every day. The house is on a quiet edge of the town the so is very peaceful. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: All rooms would be very quiet and equally as good as each other.

Stayed here for a university reunion weekend for 2 nights. I booked it at the last minute and was very pleasantly surprised on arrival. It was great value - the location was spot on for canoeing and the town centre. The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was excellent. The room was well appointed and the building in general was full of character.

I fully intend to come back here at some point.

My wife and myself stayed here for two nights over the last bank holiday weekend in May and we had a wonderful stay here! We were treated to the very top floor room overlooking the river Wye - wow what a view!, and if the sun is shining (and it was!) you can literally watch the sun set. The overall friendly service, cleanliness and wonderful breakfast made up for the fact that the bathroom in this particular room is very small indeed but we can live with that just for a couple of nights. Our hosts, who have a young family of their own work very to look after their guests, so I have no hesitation in recommending the Radcliffe Guest House to other readers thinking of staying in Ross on Wye.

Mark G.

Room Tip: Book the top floor double overlooking the river Wye if you can.

I have just spent a weekend at Radcliffe Guest House with 3 friends in a family room, having spent a weekend there over Easter 2012 on my own and I can say that without a doubt, this is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are very well appointed and spotlessly clean. The family room, I can recommend in particular, due to the stunning view of the river from the huge window. However, both rooms I have stayed in have been beautifully decorated and the beds incredibly comfortable. The guest house is also nice and quiet offering a good night's sleep. The breakfast is wonderful and Beth & Andy are very accomodating when it comes to different people wanting different combinations on their breakfast plates. Both stays have been faultless and very enjoyable. Beth & Andy cannot do enough to please their guests. I cannot recommend this place enough. My friends and I plan to go back every year now. :-)
