Myself, my wife and our 3 year old daughter recently went to Gulliver World, Warrington for a day out.
The first thing you notice is that the place is in dire need of a lick of paint. The rides seem OK, but look dirty and dated. The dinosaurs in the adventure park really need attention as teeth have fallen (or are falling) out, and again need painting.
The worse thing for us was the amount of rats we saw, some in open view, others running around the bushes near the log flume.
We sat on a wall by the side of one fast food hut, and was amazed to see 5 or 6 running around so close to where food is prepared and cooked.
One of the 'restaurants' had such a strong smell of horrible, stale greasy food - it was empty, even at 1pm.
The outfits some of the characters were wearing were so old and in need of a wash - I was uncomfortable letting my daughter go near them. The elephant in particular looked dirty and so ill-fitting, the wearers clothes could be seen underneath.
Some grassy areas had overgrown, weedy areas so not accesible.
Overall, the kids will probably love it, because they don't care about the things above - but I would be wary of returning unless they had a complete face lift.
