“Park View”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2013

Stayed here not for the first time prior to working locally the next day. Evening meal was well tasty Chicken, Chorizo and Butternut Squash. All aspects of service exemplary throughout but what topped it all was that I had somehow left £20 in my room after checking out.
I might never have realised I had done this were it not for a phone call from the hotel to tell me this. Managed to return to hotel to gratefully get my note back.
How refreshing to see such honesty, especially in this day and age...
Thank You Park View!

We stay overnight in Wolverhampton once a year. We try a different hotel each year and it's taken four years to find one we'd be enthusiastic to return to.

Lovely hotel. Our experience very much echoed what other reviewers have said. Reception staffed 24/7 so we could come back from our family party as late as we liked. Plenty of private parking. Two possible downsides: no lift (Hardly practical in a converted Victorian building) though we were shown to our room [never had that happen before!] and I'm sure there would have been help with luggage had it been needed; and no bath. However, the shower was great, with jacuzzi style nozzles and even its own radio.

Room Tip: Ask for a ground floor room if you have mobility problems.

Great experience.
Arrived late due to M6 closure but was expected and welcomed.
Shown to room - that's never happened before - and had the Jaccuzzi shower explained.
Restaurant fed me, even though I was late.
Breakfast in the morning was a feast! Huge variety of fruit, yogurts, beverages and an excellent cooked plateful.
Very friendly and welcoming and would certainly stay here again.
Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Only saw one room but if rest are as good . . . . . any room would do very well.

We went to an event at Wolverhampton Civic Hall 8th December and stumbled upon this hotel. We were definitely not disappointed, the hotel is beautifully decorated to a high standard. Perfectly located if your visiting the Civic Hall only a 5 min walk to the town centre, restaurants and bars.

We ate in Hamilton's in the evening and breakfast is served here in the mornings, on both occasions there was a good choice and everything was delicious.

The staff made us feel relaxed and at home which is very rare these days, nothing was too much trouble. So thank you once again everyone at Park View Hotel, we will definitenly be staying with you again.

A real gem - started with a friendly welcome and being shown to our room. The room itself was lovely - warm and cosy, very clean and comfortable, and a fantastic shower. Handy for the centre of town, and the bar was still open for a relaxing nightcap after a top night out at the Civic. Brilliant breakfast the next morning, and all in all a great place to stay. Will definitely stay again.

If you like small, friendly hotels with good food and large modern rooms then this is for you. It has free parking around the back and the adjoining restaurant has a very good menu.
I stayed in an executive room booked through LateRooms at £85 B&B and was given room 102 which was beside reception but as the hotel only has 21 rooms I cant say I was bothered by any noise. The room overlooked the park and the hotel is set in a quiet area near to Wolverhampton City centre.
The rooms are large enough with Widescreen TV's, free WiFi, and the bathrooms are equipped with power shower cubicles c/w body jets. The bar area is small but not cramped, the service is very friendly but not overbearing and the bar food is great quality at a reasonable price.
I found this hotel perfect for an overnight stay on business and it seemed that most of the guests where regulars which is a good sign

Room Tip: Ask for an executive room or the family room in the roofspace
