“Nice stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2012

Stayed here for a weekend with my wife - visiting Wolverhampton for a concert and some shopping.
The room was an executive suite (room # 252) - so nice, clean & large room, quietly situated at the end of the corridor and at a reasonable price.
Staff was friendly, food was OK but not a culinary excursion :-)
Breakfast selection was a little on the low side since there wasn't enough choice of cheese, ham and bread (toast or baguette) but otherwise OK.
All in all it was perfect for what we needed. -If I am ever back in Wolverhampton - I will stay here again.

Check in was quick and simple, took a minute, polite efficient staff. Room was fine, larger than expected and clean. Also had chocolates left as a treat for my birthday. We were on the 3rd floor so looked across the town. Bed very comfortable. Loved that I could plug my mp3 player into the TV and play it. Nice choice of shower, normal or rainfall, would have liked to have tried the rainfall but had no shower cap and didn't want to get hair wet.
Reception ordered taxi for us in the evening and gave us a call when it arrived.
Breakfast was also extensive and I didn't have to ask for veggie sausages as they were already on the hot plate. Coffee was excellent (so I'm told, don't drink it myself).
Check out was also very quick just £3 for the car park and they gave us great directions for our escape to Telford. If we're back in Wolverhampton for a concert I will definitely stay here. About 10 minute walk to the Civic Centre/Wulfren Hall

Room Tip: Top floor for the view

Paid £70, money well spent. Friendly check in staff. The room was very good. Very nice bed indeed; queen size, comfortable and most importantly very clean.
There was also a sofa/bed as well which was an extra. You can watch tv (mounted and can move angle)
Bathroom is separate from shower room and both room are away from the bed area. There is a door which closes those two rooms away so another neat idea.
Ate at the restaurant. Very good variety to chose from. If you book a table then u get a complimentary large wine or beer.
Town centre is literally 2-3 min walk. Close to restaurants like Nandos. There is a sainsburys local so we got our croissants and milk from there ;)
Parking is £3 which i think is mega cheap!!
Only downside; wife was using the iron and then all the lights went out. Called reception and resolved issue in under 10 mins so not bad!
Cheers Novotel

Staff friendly, very clean throughout, great service.

My only gripe is that the memory foam mattresses, make you tooooo hot to sleep - no air con working made things worse as opening the windows was far to noisy. This was October, god knows what it must be like in the summer. Most of the large group I was with, felt the same.

Stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights. Room price included breakfast. It was conveniently located for where I wanted to go in Wolverhampton and I had no trouble finding it - maybe it depends on which direction you are approaching from. Room was clean, comfortable and bright. Breakfast was fine and I also had a couple of evening meals, one in the restaurant and the other in the bar. Whilst not exactly cheap, I didn't feel that the dinner prices were too excessive. If I have to visit Wolverhampton again, I would have no hesitation about booking this hotel.

Stayed at this hotel for one night on a mystery weekend with National Holidays could not fault anything, from booking in to leaving the service was exceptional.room very clean and spacious with an enormous bed which was very comfortable.Evening meal was excellent and breakfast was the same.....would most certainly stay at this hotel again, also very central and within easy reach of town.

Room Tip: From speaking to other passengers on our tour every room seems to be of the same high standard.

We had a little trouble finding the hotel in the first place but eventually made our way round the ring road to it. After this minor ordeal my heart sank on arrival we were then told but the receptionist that they were expecting us the day before! I had visions of altercations with the staff but no, the excellent receptionist (unfortunately I didn’t get her name) was soon sorting all out. What super service!

We thought the rooms were modern, large and clean. Lovely sofa and bed with two excellent nights sleep. The bathroom was clean and well maintained.

We ate in the restaurant on the first night and found the food to be enjoyable and tasty with good efficient service.

Breakfast again was very tasty with an excellent choice.

The reception and bar areas were modern with plenty of seating.

Nothing to complain about Here (well apart from liking a few more biscuits in the room, not replaced after the first night), we thought this hotel was great value, has friendly staff, a nice stay, would use it again and recommend it to others.
