Went to this restaurant a few months ago, expecting something truly fantastic, a paradise of diners. As the waiter rang the service bell with a firm ring, the waitress came down the staircase to show us upstairs. We were ushered round a winding track to a quaint table.
My companion was seated on a very low chair; myself on the other hand was hunched over like a goliath on a raised seat. The art and decor was pleasant on the eyes, being of a hand painted and presumably of a glorious Italian coastline picture-postcard esque nature. The wine was acceptable, however when the starter arrived, which was soup this was average.
As a short interlude before the main I made my way as directed to the toilets; as i eased open the sliding door and plunged into a storage cupboard I heard a shriek from the manager downstairs who started yelling up to me. I made my way back out and was shown to the correct toilets. Sadly I returned to these toilets within 5 minutes of indulging the main, which was a pasta dish as I had to vomit. I am unaware if this is a result of the food mixing with the wine and soup. All in all I was disappointed to say the least, I shan't be returning but I wish them well.
