5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

This is a great place to stay, right in the town centre with secure private parking. Staff very friendly and coffee and cake on arrival is a nice touch. The place is spotless with good size bedroom and bathroom. Comfortable beds and well fitted out room with large tv on the wall. It is a very upmarket B & B, there is no bar or evening food but there are plenty of options on the doorstep. This is definately the place to stay if you are visiting Yeovil, I really couldnt fault it.

A really great place to stay, very friendly staff with a nothing is too much trouble attitude. There’s no bar or food in the evening but it’s opposite a pub and there’s plenty of places to eat nearby. So don’t waste money on hotels with facilities you don’t use or need, spend it on what you want – comfort and service!

I really don't know why people stay anywhere else when B&B's like this are about for really sensible money. We stayed one Saturday night in early February. We had a very friendly welcome and were offered homemade cake on arrival (which was lovely) and given a short tour on where everything was. The room we had was lovely and spacious, very clean and had everything you need, including a huge very comfortable bed, large sofa, big TV and well appointed ensuite. Tea and coffee in the room with biscuits also. What else do you need?

We had a great night's sleep and we took the full english breakfast (cooked to order) the following morning which was excellent. If I wanted to be picky I'd suggest fixing the headboard of the bed in our room to the wall (it's a bit loose). 9.5/10 and so much better than a certain hotel "Inn" chain up the road that was 3.5 miles out of town, wanted more money, and offered breakfast in the pub next door! I certainly recommend The Keep.

We stayed 3 nights in January 2013. We arrived late evening but were greated with a hot drink and piece of homemade cake. The rooms were modern and stylish but cosy. The breakfast was good and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel offers fantastic value and would definitely recommend and would stay at again.

Alas, only a one night stay in this split level suite at the Keep Sleep Boutique which is perfectly located for anyone visiting the Octagon theatre or Yeovil town centre. All needs for your comfort have been anticipated in elegant minimalist style. Faultless comfort, helpful staff, charming owners, fresh and plentiful continental breakfast. All hotels should be this good. The only things missing, to quote Basil Fawlty, are "views of wildebeest across the plains and Krakatoa erupting".

Room Tip: I'm sure all rooms are super, but the Tower Suite is simply superb.
