Exceptional service, delicious local food, great value for money and a friendly environment. Would strongly recommend visiting, remember to book as you don't want to be disappointed. The cakes are amazing too :)

“Brilliant Sunday Carvery”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

Found this place on Trip Advisor and it lives up to its billing as No 1 for a number of reasons as follows;

Food is all freshly cooked local produce and plentiful in terms of portions
Everything was cooked perfectly
The host (Gary) and his family go the extra mile to make you welcome - I love family businesses for this reason.
The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable and I would describe this as a hidden gem as its in a lovely environment centre on the very edge of the town.

If you want a good value carvery in a very nice place served by genuinely nice people then look no further.

“Excellent food on our doorstep”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2013

I have to say I feel extremely lucky to live near this lovely family run restaurant. The food is always cooked fresh to order and is delicious. Most of the food is sourced locally and includes a lot of Kentish fayre - excellent. The owners are always welcoming and we have been here lots of times ..... sometimes just or coffee and cake which is also equally lovely. In Summer, you can sit outside (dog friendly area) and enjoy the food and sunshine. Truly lovely place! Thank you.
