I visited this Thai restaurant with a work colleague without making a booking on a week day. I opted for the Pad Thai as I am always interested in the different variations of this dish that you see. Although it tasted really nice and fresh with lots of coriander there was a marked absence of any large prawns and the inclusion of tofu amongst the chicken and shrimps was not a great textural experience. My friend ordered a simialr noodle dish and ended up with a rice dish in a scooped out pineapple which he said was tasty but not what he asked for. The starters were nice also and the service was good - very quick on the drinks order and when it came to paying. What made this a memorable visit was the amount of traditional carved wood inside the restaurant (including the table and chairs) even in the areas on the way to the toilets. The menu was a little pricey in my opinion, but then I have no base for comparison not having eaten anywhere else in Banbury apart from a Frankie and Benny's.
