“Lives up to Premier Inn reputation.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2011

We stayed on our journey from France en route, just for one night, and would stay there again any time. The staff are impeccably trained, polite and helpful. The twin room was good, clean and warm. No noise fron the carpark, but a banging door in the corridor was irritating.

When I booked by phone through the central reservations I asked for a disabled room with twin beds, but was told the hotel did not have this. I learnt later from the receptionist that in fact they have two such rooms, so it was a pity that we coud not have had one. We will know for the next time.

Breakfast was excellent at the Wobbly wheel, but dinner was very disappointing.
However, the hotel more than made up for that, and we would certainly recommend it to our friends.

Great hotel to stay in. Very quiet location, excellent staff and just a five minute drive into Banbury if you want a change of scene. It is also a good location to use as a base for exploring some of the other places of interest in the wider area e.g Warwick and Stratford on Avon.

Have used Premier Inns before, always good value. The Banbury one was in a quiet location, spotlessly clean and with outstandingly good staff. When you can get a comfortable double room with a 2 course dinner and a decent bottle of wine for under £60 for two people, that really is a winner!

Having stayed in a number of Premier Inns we think this is the best one we have stayed in so far. All the staff were polite and friendly, we enjoyed the excellent food in the adjoining "Wobbly Wheel" pub restaurant and the 'As Much As You Can Eat' breakfast was value for money and even better value with the meal deal. The room and the bathroom were clean and tidy and included a hair dryer and electric fan for the hotter days.

Room Tip: A room to the rear of the building would be preferable as rooms on the front, adjacent to the road...

This is a decent premier inn but it is out in the sticks with the nearest shops being about 5 miles away (hence no newspapers in the morning). Staff are friendly and the rooms in good condition.

The only let down is the restaurant. Ate with two guests and out of three meals two were very poor quality (dry fishcakes, tough steak).

This Inn is in a quiet location. However, as the sound insulation is very poor, we were disturbed by doors banging and people arguing in the car park. The hotel is very well run, by an exceptionally committed staff team.

Having stayed in a number of Premier Inns previously this was well up to standard.

Room clean and well equipped and staff pleasant. Adjoining pub "The Wobbly Wheel" very good value, but food (Brewers fare) nondescript and bland.

With the deals available by booking on-line this hotel would prove hard to beat in the locality.
