What a little gem located off the Stratford/Banbury road. Upton House is so deceptive and it appeals both in summer and winter. The gardens are delightful. The view from the ha ha is breath taking. The Warwickshire countryside is so attractive. The House captures the 1930s, a time when The House would host lavish weekend parties . The House was remodelled in the late 1920s and houses as good a collection of artwork you could hope for outside A specialist gallery. But best of all is the atmosphere around The House. The Staff are wonderful. They have knowledge for those wanting it, they are FRIENDLY and only too willing to chat. You encouraged to enjoy your trip. Bread was being baked on the old aga, the aroma wafting around. In some ways it is a home, not a House. If you live locally or are passing through make time for Upton House. You will not be disappointed.
