“QUALITY AND STYLE”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2014

Great place for lunch with small but quality menu. Good wine list.
Beautifully restored building in prime countryside position. Ample parking.
Impressive, give it a try.

“Excellent food and pleasant service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2014

Went here one Saturday lunchtime when visiting Farnborough House. The village is National Trust and very pretty.
This well kept gastropub serves delicious food. My other half had a burger, it was great but made difficult to eat by serving it on a piece of wood. Chips in a little bucket and salad in a small bowel. Looks great but a pain in the proverbial to eat. I had the chicken with bulgar wheat and pomegranate sauce, delicious but small, still felt hungry afterwards. And it was served on an oblong plate. There's a good reason plates are round, you don't keep losing bits!
However would recommend, and would visit again if in the area.

“Networking haven”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2014

A great place for a networking meeting. Great room in the back. We closed the doors and it was not disturbed by the restaurant noise outside. The bar staff are quick and efficient. The food/snacks served covered all tastes (omnivore and vegetarian) and was really tasty.

“The 'Inn' place to be”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2014

As a local, I thank god for The Inn, there are very few places in the area where you can go for great food, wine & company.

Having been a regular for the last ten years I have seen many staff come & go but am always greeted with a warm welcome, the chefs (part of the furniture) certainly know how to put a plate of food together, & with the owners Jo & Anthony's vast experience....a winning formula.

There certainly is no better place to be in the sunshine than the 'Inn Garden' supping on an ice cold glass of Cotes de Provence chatting to friends, locals & staff a like.....keep up the good work & hope to see you soon for a glass or three!! ;)

“Fabulous food and excellent service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014 via mobile

Attended as a group of 7 early summer evening. Great menu with lots of choice, accommodated a gluten free diet without any problem.
Sitting out in garden until it got cooler when we were offered seating inside without any fuss. The food quality was exceptional from a platter to share, the beef, lamb and seafood dishes were all amazing, and then the deserts came, Wow!!!
Wonderful evening all round.
