Have visited this establishment many times, probably, like most people, to have a quick bite to eat before attending the flicks. Its ideal for this purpose; good value, good location, good variety.
The Aroma offers a nice selection of cantonese cuisine, and most people will find something to their liking. The normal chinese favourites, like sweet and sour dishes, chow mein. noodles, spring rolls chicken wings, dumplings, and satays, are all here. What I particularly like is the tepanyaki bar, where you can select your own cold ingredients, and take them to the chef, who will cook them while you wait. There are choices of vegetables, meats, and seafood available for this purpose.
Plus you can also specify your own seasoning requirements.
Desserts are quite varied, including gateaux, fruit, assorted jellies, and ice creams.
Drinks are reasonably priced.
The restaurant is a buffet style place, so you have the opportunity to pick and choose.
All good so far.
The only drawback can be the noise, especially when there are large groups, and children. The noise can be horrendous!
Not a place for an intimate meal, but as a value for money, pre-cinema dining experience, or a quick, last-minute restaurant choice, it has something for everyone.
Just take a pack of earplugs as a contingency measure.
