The restaurant is very centrally located and open lunchtimes and evening - we booked for lunch.
We didn't expect there to be many other patrons at all really on a Thursday lunchtime - but by the time we left it was about 2 thirds fulls.
We went for the starter and main menu, and at £8.75 for both it's amazing value, which you realise whilst eating!
There is plenty of choice; about 6 starters and 10 mains plus another 4 of each on the monthly specials menu.
We had chicken & prawn parcels, spring rolls, and 2 x fishcakes. All were lovely, parcels very tasty and fishcakes slightly fragrant I thought. All served with small salad and sweet chilli sauce which was lovely.
Mains we had sweet & sour chicken, chilli chicken, beef in red wine, stir fried chicken & egg rice. The former 3 all came with a mound of rice and could perhaps have done with a bit more sauce, but as one of us said, you don't get too much of a good thing.
I had the stir fried chicken & egg rice which was off the monthly specials, and I was so glad, it was so tasty.
If you like trying different beers, my partner very much enjoyed the Thai beer and as I was driving I just had mango juice but even that was great.
The lunch time menu is superb value for money, I will try and come back soon to sample the evening menu.
