We have just returned from a fabulous couple of nights at Stoop Farm. Karen is a wonderful host and nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in the Hollins Hill room which was bright and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was spacious with a roll top bath and separate shower and the tea and coffee was all excellent quality with fresh milk and homemade shortbread. We were welcomed with a pot of tea and home made cakes in the guest longe with its log burning fire, honesty bar and lots of board games! This was also the breakfast room and what a breakfast! Cereals, yogurts, freshly stewed fruits, homemade granola, juices and your choice of Karens exellent cooking including a full English or kippers.
We ate dinner at The Royal Oak both nights which I would recommend but bring your appetite as the portions are huge!
There's some great walks from the Farm. We did the Chrome Hill/Longnor circular walk which was about 8 miles through some stunning scenery.
We fully intend to return to Stoop Farm again and I would encourage anyone else to book.
