Set in acres of green the hotel looks like a beautiful castle. The inside lounges are filled with beautiful tapestries and heavy furniture with plenty of seating areas. The food areas, although good, were rather expensive and the bedrooms, set in an attached annexe were not as I expected from a Marriott Hotel. However the bedrooms were quiet and warm and, with a frost outside, this was most welcome
