“Excellent find and superb food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012

We happened across this restaurant / tea room, whilst it looks a little like a petrol station don't be deceived. We simply loved the food, the service and the feel of the place. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the soup and scones both tasted great.

“Very welcoming with delicious food and fab coffee”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2012

Were intending to do loch walk in this area but rain (very heavy!) stopped our plan. Noticed this little tearoom and decided to have a coffee. Very glad that we did. Excellent coffees scones (with jam) and chocolate tiffin - great choice of cakes and traybakes - all home made which is very unusual these days particularly at the reasonable prices charged. Enjoyed it so much that we went back next day after completing a fairly long walk to have some home made broccoli soup with warm soda bread - tasty! - and of course more coffee and cake! Didnt sample the sandwiches but they looked very good and those eating them seemed appreciative. Also does takeaway - handy if you are biking cycling walking or just out and about.

Waitresses all friendly - one in particular was chatty and clearly local - a real pleasure to talk with.

Seating outside as well as in and water for dogs. Brightly decorated with local art on the walls magazines for reading and a very relaxed atmosphere.

This cafe deserves to be a success. A local enterprise quite different from the usual chains. It was pretty busy the times we were there - hopefully the good word will spread and bring in even more custom. Seek it out - it is worth the search!

Small but perfectly formed. Give it a go. Highly recommended.

“An Oasis”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2012

Stopped here on a cycle ride from Killin to Auchterarder and found this lovely little eatery in the middle of nowhere. The owner was really welcoming and very knowledgable about the area. The food (all local produce) marvellous and good value.
Very highly recommended.
