We found Milton Cottage on Trip Advisor, and after consulting with our fellow travelers, we decided to give it a try. From the moment we met Tyrella, our gracious host and gifted chef, we all agreed it was the highlight of our week in Dunkeld. Tyrella prepared an amazing bruschetta with pine nuts and swiss chard (from the garden), a luscious duck cassoulet that simply fell off the bone, and a fresh salad with more greens from the garden. The grand finale was a light and creamy lemon posset with almond cookies for dessert. It was all served in her candlelit dining room. As an American, I had never heard of lemon posset, so when I inquired about it, she offered to send me the recipe. It was in my email box when we arrived back at our cottage! All four of us give this special dining experience an emphatic 5 stars, and we hope someday to return.
