“Always a joy?”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2012

Visited here several times and in different season. It is a lovely short walk from the car park and the paths are easy to navigate. The waterfalls are lovely to watch and the surrounding areas are very peaceful. My favourite time to visit here is the Autumn as the colours are magnificent.

“walk in the Hermitage”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2012

great to walk as far or as short as you can mange, quite accessible for those with mobility issues. the noise of the water is extreme but wonderful and you can imagine sitting meditating, maybe only for a wee while though!

“Must see”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2012

Ossian's Hall is a must to see if you are in the area - earlier in the day you go the better and able to appreciate the quiet tranquility it offers. Great palce to spend a couple of hours in the forest walks along the river.

“A little Scary”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2012

The door into Ossian's Hall is well camouflaged and has to be forced hard to open it. There is then a sliding door at the rear which takes you out on to the viewing area, where you get a great view of the falls. When we were between the 2 doors my wife felt a litle scared and was glad when the sliding door opened. A pleasant walk although once again areas were shut for safety reasond following on from the recent storms.
