The hospitality could not have been more gracious and personal. The care was flawless.....the attention to detail was done to the nth degree and the food.....well the food was to die for! Although its been two years since our last stay, my wife and find ourselves fondly remembering our trip to Dunoon and the Hunters Quay Hotel.....our bit of Scotland.

Some years ago, according to locals, the Hunters Quay Hotel left more than a little to be desired. Then, along came the present owners who set about systematically gutting and revamping the building, preserving the best and making sure that everything new reflected their high standards. Today, the Hunters Quay is a delightful and extremely elegant place to stay. The facilities are superb, the staff are extremely helpful, and the meals we enjoyed there were among the best we have ever had during our many trips to Scotland. The wine list is an absolute dream!

At this juncture, dear reader, we should perhaps stress that we have no connection with the hotel other than as paying guests and though our business is public relations we have not been offered any incentive to produce this review. It's a great place to stay and relax in wonderful surroundings. It may even be one of the best hotels we have visited in Scotland in recent years.

Excellent hotel, Friendly owners, clean, stylish interior and great food (although the menu is limited, which is understable given the size of the hotel - 10 rooms - and the need to keep standards high).

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel, and I can't recommend it enough. It is great value, very clean, well maintained and equipped and very relaxing.
