Great hotel in wonderful surroundings. Staff very helpful and pleasant -nothing too much trouble. Food is of a high quality and also is the service. Would definitely go there again.

A trip for some peace and tranquilty was planned and thats what I got..

This hotel has under gone many changes with the last 18 months or so the major one being New Ownership. Beautifully decorated rooms, staff who are more than willing to help in any situation.

The manager is always ready for a laugh and joke and we had a few of the best nights ever spent away, good food good company and an excellant setting what more could you ask....Try it yourself

Nice enough property, well-meaning people but this hotel has a long way to go. Breakfast was, how shall I put this, cooked by a guy in a t-shirt and jeans who was also our waiter. Suspect hygiene standards there. It wasn't very professional and the food was, well, soaked in fat.

The place needs professional management.

Eight of us had booked in for dinner at the Glendaruel Hotel. We were cycling and camping at the campsite 2.5 miles away.

As we had cycled 45 miles that day we were rather tired and enquired at the hotel whether it was possible for us to take a taxi there and back. But unfortunately there are no taxis in the area so the hotel offered to make a double trip to collect us from the campsite to the hotel and take us back again after the meal.

We were so grateful.
