“Lovely Walk”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

A great walk in the Argyll Forest. We found the paths to be marked well and the manmade paths are great and well maintained. There are a lot of steps, but this is preferable to scrambling up hills to me! We followed the Red Pucks Glenn walk, and were stopping to take lots of photos but still managed it within a couple of hours. We didn't see anyone else the whole time we were there, but it was out of season. Once you get up through the waterfalls out to the top onto the forestry track you need to watch out for the marker to take you back down through the forest, as the red marker was a bit faded and look orange, but the views you get over the lochs and forest are amazing! A great way to spend some time in this great place.

“Lovely Walks”

Great place to go walking - not for the faint hearted though, even the moderate walks can be quite hard going in places. Beatiful areas to be seen

Just a beautiful walk, waterfalls and trees, uphill but its ok you can take a rest. There is a car park right next to Lamont Lodges which has a walkway but go up the hill fantastic.

great walk for the gentle walker, bit steep in places and best to go on a dry day or can be slippery

“Enchanting Hike”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2012

Visiting Puck's Glenn entails a fairly easy but distinctly uphill hike on a slick but well-made trail that frequently criss-crosses a lovely stream in a very narrow glen. Numerous waterfalls, lush vegetation and attractive little bridges provide an enchanting, Midsummer-Nights-Dream kind of experience. You can easily combine this hike with a visit to Benmore Gardens (and in fact we began and ended our hike from the Garden parking area) - the hike from there took about 2 hours total.
