“Dog Friendly and some lovely views.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2013

Were regulars to the Edinburgh botanics, on a slightly chilly but sunny day in April this place was near deserted and hardly saw a soul till we got to the cafe! Some amazing views, not so much from the viewpoint but further round as you turn a corner and get great views over to Beinn Mhor.

“Wonderful setting and a lovely atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

We just visited for a drink and cake. The setting is lovely . The service was good and the drinks and food excellent. My hot chocolate with cream had a good helping of cream so was impressed. Large portions of cake too. Had a quick look around , the redwoods are impressive

“rhododendron paradise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

April-June is the best time to visit for colour but the rest of the year is pleasant. Various areas of garden to visit-magnificent views if you can climb to viewpoints. Buggy transport available on certain days. Fernery is very special. Really good cafe and shop to end your visit

“Lovely gardens.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2013

So peaceful and the gardens are spectacular. Tree lined drives with hundred plus old redwood trees. Worth a visit if you enjoy lovely gardens.
