“Beautiful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

If this was set in the South of France people would flock here. There are wonderful views including the French coast and magnificent views of the Kent coastline. The Leas themselves are beautifully maintained and are unique in my view.

“Elegance of a bygone age!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

One of the few places on the South Coast where one can walk without traffic noise or nuisance and enjoy a fantastic view across the English Channel to France. Brilliant paths down to the Coastal Park and the Promenade. During the summer weekends the Bandstand has a variety of performers. Lots of 'secrets' are hiding along The Leas as a result of the Triennial Arts festivals - something for young and old. Don't miss morning coffee or afternoon tea at The Grand - Edward VII brought the Court and Mrs Keppell here for some sea air - the place has much history and mystery. Be photographed and take photographs along The Leas - it's memorable.

“Beautiful walk”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2013

Wonderful views over to France, this green park runs for about a mile as far as the imposing Grand Hotel and Metropolitan Hotel where Edward the SEventh and his son George 5th Had suites.
Benches and lawns and steps down to the beach, also a funicular railway.
