They say two out of three ain't bad but that depends on just how bad the one is. In the case of service at The Ship, it's pretty bad.
Forgotten items, slow service and even forgetting to book a table for a large party are all human errors that can be forgiven, but I find it hard to be forgiving of rude, disinterested members of staff, who sneer and walk off halfway through a complaint and proceed to make sarcastic remarks during service. It's especially bad when it's the Front-of-House Manager who clearly should know better. I can only assume from this experience that the woman in question either has shockingly poor customer skills or just a bad attitude generally, neither of which are conducive to the successful operation of running a restaurant. Needless to say I won't be eating here again in the near future.
