Stayed here for 2 nights for a family wedding. Parking was an issue on arrival, nut explained to manager who said he was about to leave so we could have his space. Arrived 2 hours early for check in, and cleaners were in but only had to wait 10 minutes before being shown our room.
Room had everything you need including bath, shower, sink, kettle, tv etc. Beds were very hard and horrible old blankets, we also found dome dog hairs, which considering it was a family room wasn't great. Staff has already put a cot in our room for baby, which was brilliant and gave us an iron on request.
Nights sleep was very uncomfortable, beds were extremely hard, but room was nice and cool.
Location was superb, 100 yards from the sea front and our room was very quiet to outside noise.
Breakfast was great, cereal or fruit, coffee, Orange juice and simple full English. Only had 1 sausage, egg etc so second day I asked for more which wasn't an issue.
On the whole, this was a pleasant stay, highlight was the staff, they were all excellent, friendly and couldn't do enough for you. I would much prefer to stay here than a travel lodge, never staff, better location, bigger room and breakfast included.
Pro's: staff, location, breakfast, size of rooms all brilliant.
Cons: desperately needs updating starting with rooms including new mattresses, duvets on all beds, and a good lick of paint.
Would I stay here again? Most definitely!
