I spent 4 nights at the Huddersfield Central Lodge in May of this year, and it was a wonderful experience.

I found them on an internet search, and dealt with Lee by e-mail. I could tell from the friendliness of his e-mails that I would have a good time.

I have no complaints at all! There was a very warm welcome, the hotel is just a short walk to the town centre, my room was very comfortable and quiet, the breakfasts were delicious, and for take-away dinners (no dinners at hotel), they kindly provided a plate and silverware to take to my room. I was even given a ride to the train station when I left!

The staff was very friendly, very willing to chat and give hints on what to see.

I will certainly be returning for another stay in the future.

I have stayed at this family run hotel a few times, staff are very helpful, it is quite a small but well run hotel i dont think there are more than 30 rooms if that. rooms are morate but not massive, always clean. though not far from the town centre (beast market - next to an antique shop) it is quite quiet at night.

Good tasty english breakfast, never had any problems here. there give you a security access after late hours for entry.

would rate this place even better than the George and the hudddersfield hotel nearby.

lovely friendly, nothing to much trouble,nice finishing touches in rooms,eg complimentary shower caps,shampoos,soaps,hand & body lotion, even sewing kits,nice tea & coffee in rooms not your usual cheap stuff,(suchards hot chocolate mmm! ) irons even an ironing board,excellent choice of food breakfast that is,secure parking,will definatley stay there again,and highly reccomend this hotel,
