4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013

We stayed here for three nights. Bedrooms very clean, and spacious. All the staff were very kind and helpful.Just a special mention for Linda on reception, You are a gem, thanks for all your help. We only found one small draw back and that was the drone of the traffic on the motorway. But then we live out in the country with the main road half a mile away, But other than that it was exellent !

My wife and I stopped over on a Saturday night recently. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady who made us feel very welcomed. Later in the afternoon a different young lady on reception went out of her way to find a telephone number of a local restaurant for us with no fuss whatsoever. The decor of the hotel is a little dated but it is clean and comfortable. We did encounter a problem at breakfast in the Nags Head next door to the hotel. Apparently, Premier Inn do not own the Nags Head but none the less they need to be made aware of the problems we encountered when we went in for our pre-booked breakfast. The service we received at breakfast can only be described as abysmal. We have put our complaints in writing to both Premier Inn and the Nags Head. We are waiting for a reply from Premier Inn. We have received a reply from the manager of the Nags Head his reply was like our breakfast experience, shoddy!! Thank you Premier Inn we will definitely stay again but will have breakfast elsewhere .

This was my second time at this Premier Inn and I was very satisfied. Excellent staff, the room was clean and the adjoining restaurant was a pleasure. The room could only be improved with air conditioning, but it was a very hot night!

Needed somewhere to stay overnight before an early start and this premier inn had good reviews and was a good price. 2adults 2children stayed comfortably in the room. Plenty of space with the 2 kids beds. Room very very warm, luckily there was a small fan in room which we had to leave on all the time even through the night. Great shower. Plenty of towels however sink hot tap far too hot!! No noise could be heard with window closed however we were woken early by staff/deliveries from restaurant next door. Nags head pub next door nice had breakfast there. Was usual standard premier inn brekkie which is great as kids eat free. Would really like premier inn's to have more local information handy like supermarkets, petrol stations, takeaways etc. if ever I was up that way again would stay again no probs.

We stayed at this premier inn as we were attending a wedding 5 minutes away; we had hoped to stay at the wedding venue but it was fully booked. However on reflection we were really pleased with our hotel. We arrived at 12pm and were not due to check in until 2 but the lady on reception was so helpful-ringing to check whether our room had already been cleaned (it had so we were able to store our things and freshen up after our long journey!) She also phoned for a taxi to the wedding venue for us which we appreciated.
The hotel itself was not difficult to find, just a couple of minutes off the M62. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable and the shower was more powerful than in similar budget hotels. Although it was very hot the night we stayed, a fan was provided which alleviated this. All in all a great hotel at a good price.

Room Tip: Check the premier inn sales a few months beforehand

Stayed here for one night as we needed a hotel with a family room, while attending a wedding. decent size rooms even with for a family of 4. Clean and tidy, decor high standard as expected for Premier Inn.
Friendly helpful staff even if we did try to confuse her by booking another room online after we had already checked in.
Dispite been right on the edge of the M62 no traffic noise could be heard from within the room with the window shut. Fans provided in each room so windows dont have to been opened unless personal choice to do so.
Plenty of towels in clean and generous size bath room.
Breakfast in the pub next door was not to the standard we usually reicieve at other premier inn facilities

Good Afternoon, Thank you sincerely for your comments about Huddersfield West Premier Inn. I am very pleased you enjoyed your stay. Unfortunately, I am sorry to hear your breakfast was not quite to your usual standard. The Nags Head Pub is not part of Premier Inn/Whitbread, though we do try hard to work together to get it right for all our guests. We look forward to seeing you again in the near future. Kind Regards Louise Gibson.
