“New Decor”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2013

We liked the implementation of the new design of the chain on this branch, overlooking one corner of the market opposite
The New 'Polpette al Forno' was interesting, remember the bread underneath the plate!, the Salsicca was very good too

“Enjoyed the food and the very friendly service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013

I suspect those who've been dissatisfied with the service here may be expecting rather too much from a place in this price bracket. I ate for the first time here with friends, lunch at about 2pm so not too busy. We were very well looked after by friendly and informative staff and the food was excellent. The one item I wouldn't go for was my friend's choice of 'panzerottini: baked little dough balls'; I've never understood why anyone would want such things and as a starter there were too many of them. King prawns, calamari and 'caprina' salad were excellent. I like the idea of a 'carafe' (less than a bottle, more than a large glass) and the attractive, dumpy carafes hold more than you'd think to look at them. If you're lucky you can get a table at the back overlooking the river, the swans and the narrowboats.

“Very nice visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2013

Went to ASK in April for a lunchtime drink and meal. My girlfriend has very strict dietary requirements in terms of no gluten but we were pleasantly surprised to see they had many gluten free choices on the menu.

Service was good and staff friendly.

Will definitely be going back.

“a lot of cost for a bowl of microwaved pasta”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

never eat in an empty restreraunt
is a good bit of advise
i had seafood pasta that had a couple of prawns
in it it tasted just like a supermarket value meal at about 10 times the price
the drinks were over priced as well

“Good early Friday night dinner”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2013

We came here early on a Friday evening. Sat near the back where it is warm. The food was good and so was service.
