“The Warmest Of Welcomes”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

Where do I start. Joan & Anton (along with Molly their gorgeous cocker spaniel) were the most wonderful of hosts and by the time we left after our 3 night stay, we felt as if we had known them for years. You really felt as if they enjoyed sharing their home with you and couldn't do enough for us. Antons baking alone is worth going to Scarborough for as we found out by the fantastic scones and Bakewell tarts that were left in our room for us to enjoy on our return. The breakfasts are great with plenty of choice and are enjoyed in a lovely smart bright dining room.
We stayed in room no 5 which was bright, spotlessly clean and comes with what must be the biggest ensuite shower room in Scarborough.
The B&B is ideally placed as is only a few minutes walk to both Peasholme Park and the North Bay sea front.
We can't praise Bramblewick highly enough and are already looking forward to our next stay with our new found friends.

Room Tip: Room 5 has a huge ensuite shower room but from what I have seen every room is of the same high stand...

A lovely well run and exceptionally clean bed and breakfast. Joan and Anton the owners are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts are amazing and the standard consistent. The rooms are very clean fresh smelling and the bathroom is finished to a high standard. The hosts offer advice if needed. The hospitality tray has an array of tea bags, coffee milk and sugar replenished every day. Also biscuits are left every day. We even came back to jam and scones once and bakewell tarts today. It's those nice extra touches that make the difference. At home I have a high quality memory foam mattress and usually have difficulty sleeping when away. The beds are ultra comfortable here and I have slept like a log. Help with luggage given on the way in and out. You can pay more......but you will not find better than this!!!!!!

Room Tip: We stayed in room 3 although I am told room one is the biggest but we were more than satisfied

We arrived on spec and the owners could not have been more helpful. Showing the room available. All were good clean nice size and well run B&B with all we needed. The small café opposite was great for our evening meal an added bonus if like us we just wanted to unwind, the location was easy to get to town. we could not ask more for a lovely couple.

On the spur of the moment myself and my mum decided to stay over in Scarborough, This was the first b&b we went to, The owners were so friendly and sincere and went out of there way to fit us in by putting a single bed into one of there double rooms, as they only had that room spare, Lovely, comfy, exceptionally clean and breakfast was a real treat, I will definitely go there again.

hubby and I have just had 3 nights at the fabulous Bramblewick Guest House.we checked out this guest house via Tripadvisor and we are so pleased we did.every review (bar one) that has been written about it is true so we cannot all be wrong or not telling the truth. From the moment we stepped into the Bramblewick to the moment we left was a delight, our bedroom 5 was perfect, very clean and had a very comfy bed and a huge ensuite shower room.Breakfast was very good, the sausages especially tasty. We have stayed in many places costing sometimes double the price of the Bramblewick and nowhere has been as good as what Joan and Anton offer at Bramblewick and can honestly say we will certainly be going back. Thank you Joan and Anton for making our wedding anniversary special (we wont mention the weather!!!!)

Room Tip: would imagine all rooms to be as good as 5

For the second time, me and my brother had a wonderful 3 nights stay. The breakfasts were just the right size and was absolutely delicious. When we arrived, we were greeted by Anton and Molly the dog. Joan and Anton were fantastic hosts, nothing is too much trouble. Thankyou, cannot wait to see you in August! Love Tom, Troy, Denise and Graham x
