“Can't fault it......”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2012

We recently stayed at the Toulson Court for 2 nights, the hotel has off street parking so there's no need to source a permit. When we walked in we were immediately offered tea/coffee etc and shown to our room. The hotel is very cosy and the owners are very attentive. We were told if there was anything we weren't happy with or anything additional we needed, just ask and they would sort it out.

We were asked what we would like for breakfast and it was made fresh at the time we specified, there was even a vegetarian option which is not often the case so it was a very nice touch!

The room was fantastic, the decor was coordinated to the towels etc and it just felt like a lot of thought and effort had gone into everything. There were tea making facilities in the room along with tea/coffee/hot chocolate. There were some toiletries provided in the bathroom (all the rooms are en suite) and this even included flannels which was a nice touch!

Keys are provided for the external door along with your room so you can come and go as you please and don't have to be in by a certain time.

Location wise, the hotel is just up the road from the Peasholme Park which is nice for a stroll when you get good weather. The hotel is just a couple of streets from the sea front and it's only a short walk. The South Bay is a bit further if you walk along the front but can be accessed quicker if you go through the streets and not on the front. There is a little shop at the end of the street should you need to buy anything and plenty of places to eat nearby as the town centre is only a short distance and costs a couple of pounds in a taxi.

It's definitely an excellent find and great value for money!

I stayed at the B&B for three nights a week between early March to May 2012 while working in Scarborough. I chose this B&B as the service and quality of the B&B was excellent. Each of the rooms are individually decorated to a high standard. Both Jackie and Dean were brilliant and went out of their way to make all their guests feel welcome. The cooked breakfasts were delicious and they were more than happy to accommodate my request for more weight watcher friendly versions!

All in all, one of the best B&B's I've ever stayed at and I would most definately recommend it to anyone.

This is our second visit to Toulson Court and we will never stay anywhere else! The owners Jackie and Dean are so welcoming, we were greeted with a smile and offered a warm drink as soon as we arrived. There is also a collection of umbrellas at the front door you can borrow if you forget yours. The rooms are immaculate and the decor is modern and relaxing, decorated to a very high standard. The complimentary toiletries were more generous than you would receive in a hotel, and even include flannels and cotton wool! I was also especially impressed to find hot chocolate as part of the hospitality tray! The beds are really comfortable and you can be assured of a great night's sleep. The breakfast is delicious and you are the owners make everything perfect for your stay so you can really relax.

Toulson Court is located a few minutes walk from Peasholme Park which is a must to visit with a lovely oriental theme and a lake with peddle boats. It is also only about ten minutes walk from the town centre with many shops and restaurants. The seafront is also really accessible as there are open top buses located nearby. If you are thinking of visiting Scarborough, you really can't find a better quality or nicer place to stay. Thank you Jackie and Dean! (Katie and Ian).

I have stayed here several times with my young son, the owners couldn't be more accomodating and welcoming, we will return again. The hotel is clean and spacious, food is lovely and nothing is too much trouble.

From the second we arrived (soaking wet, typical Scarborough!) we were made to feel welcome. Immaculate rooms, and everything working as it should, quite a rarity I have found. The breakfast was done to perfection, really can't fault anything.

If you're looking to go to Scarborough or the surrounding area, and are looking at this hotel, look no further, you won't get better.

We stayed at the toulson Court for the first time last weekend, and could not fault it.
The owners were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room was one of the best that I have stopped in and decorated to a very high standard. The breakfast is fantastic and would like to thank Jackie & Dean for making our holiday so preasurable. The hotel is well worthy of the 4 star awarded. Carnt wait to go back.

The room was quiet, spacious, well decorated and cleaned to an excellent standard, with a large comfortable bed, drink making facilities and complimentary toiletries. The breakfast was fantastic with a full English breakfast cooked to order as well as a choice of cereals, fruit and yoghurt.
The B&B is in an ideal location for exploring Scarborough and is only about 5 minutes walk from the entrance to Peasholm Park (a lovely peaceful park with an Oriental theme), and about 10-15 minutes walk from the beach or town centre.
From the moment we arrived, a few hours before the recommended check in time, nothing was too much trouble for Jackie and Dean. From sorting out a parking permit for on street parking within minutes of our arrival to the offer of a welcome cup of tea/coffee, local advice on places to eat and visit or just a friendly chat. Even our dog was made to feel welcome, which is a bonus as quality accomodation that allows pets is not easy to find. One lovely touch which was unexpected but very much appreciated, was how the breakfast tables were laid with Easter decorations on Easter Sunday, including a chocolate egg for every guest.
We had a lovely stay at Toulson Court and would definitely recommend this B&B and stay again if we visit this part of Yorkshire in the future.
