What a friendly enjoyable overnight stay. From arriving to leaving the owners could not do enough for me. Great atmosphere amongst the other guests too. An hotel which goes the extra mile so you feel you get value for money. I will be back soon.

The Raincliffe hotel is of an excellent standard, the welcome you receive when you arrive is outstanding. The owners of the hotel are so warm and friendly they can't do enough for you.

My Fiance, our daughter and myself had a lovely family room we were so comfortable that when it came to check out we left it right to the last minute. We had a wonderful full english breakfast. The food is outstanding.

The Raincliffe is in an ideal spot also because it is within walking distance to the beach, shops etc.

There isn't anything we disliked about our stay at The Raincliffe. My Fiance and I are Planning on having our honeymoon at The Raincliffe next April, but we will deffinately be going back before our wedding.

Many thanks for a superb weekend.

Rob, Lynda and Lydia.

we arived on a wet afternoon on our motorbike and were greeted like old friends. It is a fantastic old house that is realy well decorated. The hotel was almost full and we opted for the four poster bed room and were not disapointed. Soft bed linnen big fluffy towels and very clean throughout Plenty of space in the room and lots of tea, coffee and milk. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep and the hotel was very quiet.
Parking was right outside the hotel and safe for mororbikes. The owner is also acquireing a garage for guests to park motorbikes in for more added peace of mind. We went out for our evening meal but this can be provided by the host's. Breakfast was fantastic and cooked very well. Loads of choice with all needs catered for. We had a wonderfull stay and will stay there the next time we are in Scarborough. The couple that own and operate the Raincliffe are very friendly and professional and nothing is to much trouble.

Room Tip: ask for the four poster room

Having spent 5 days at this hotel and not knowing what to expect as it was our first time here only having read the revues it was indeed a gem , Mal & Katherine the owners are very hospitable and the breakfast is superb . the hotel is 5 minutes walk to the sea front and parking outside the hotel is with a scratch card provided by Mal at £1 a day alternatively you can park free with a clock display card for a limited period up the road ,we had room 7 a double which was very clean and comfy. The very first night we accidentally spilt a cup of coffee on the bedroom carpet but Katherine cleaned it up with out a murmur and made us feel at ease.i dont very often write revues but this hotel is truly a gem thanks again Mal / Katherine.

Mal & Catherine were really friendly and extremely welcoming. The beds and pillows are very cosy and exceptionally clean. The brekkie is a little large but very nice, but there is also something to suit everybody's taste buds, such as fresh fruit etc., Would definately recommend.
